FAQ
Does my truck need an APAD permit?
Yes, if it is above 7,500 kg BDM. At 7,500 kg BDM and below, you don’t need one for now if you carry your own goods.
How long does a new permit take?
Typically 30 to 60 days, but this is not guaranteed. Timing is decided by APAD.
Which permit do I need?
C for your own goods, A for other parties’ goods, KA for container haulage. KA eligibility depends on your company’s setup, so contact Dynamic Costa for an assessment.
Where can I operate with permit C?
Across the whole of Semenanjung Malaysia.
When should I renew?
Start 6 months before expiry.
